Club de Golf Alcanada
DG SPAIN 2024
Designed by renowned architect Robert Trent Jones Jnr, Club de Golf Alcanada’s stunning 18-hole golf course opened for play in 2003 and has since gone from strength to strength and is now generally regarded as one of Spain’s best golf courses.
Situated in the northeast corner of the Mediterranean island of Mallorca, Alcanada boasts an enviable seaside location, with a 6,559-meter layout that blends seamlessly into the beautiful Majorcan countryside.
The course underwent an extensive renovation programme in 2019 and subsequently hosted The Rolex Challenge Tour Grand Final supported by The R&A later that same year, and again in 2022. The Challenge Tour’s flagship event will return to Alcanada
once again in 2024, where DP World Tour hopefuls will hope to follow in the footsteps of previous winners at Alcanada, Franceso Laporta and Nathan Kimsey.
It’s not just the top-class golf course on offer at Alcanada though. With Toptracer technology installed on the driving range, tuition available at the Alcanada Academy, and a state-of-the-art Tagmarshal system ensuring a smooth pace of play on the course,
fantastic facilities and exceptional attention to detail round off the Alcanada experience.
After your round, be sure to enjoy a delicious meal and a well deserved
drink at the restaurant managed by Casa Gallega, which boasts a beautiful terrace that offers amazing panoramic views out over the Bay of Alcudia.
